| Q
| Who uses RetreatGuide.com?
|
| A
|
The folks who come to our website are primarily leaders saddled with the responsibility of planning a retreat, camp, or conference for their church or organization. Some of these planners are pros or on staff at their church, but most are volunteers who may have precious little experience with the task at hand. Additionally, RetreatGuide.com attracts parents looking for a programmed camp for their child to attend or adults seeking a pre-planned conference to plug-in to.

| Q
|
How is RetreatGuide.com promoted?
|
| A
|
As you may know, retreat planners are
a difficult group of people to reach. This is because
the responsibility of planning a retreat or conference
is continually changing from one person to the next. That's
why we actively promote RetreatGuide.com through annual
campaigns on over 400 Christian radio stations, Christian
publications, and direct contact with church and conference
leaders. Perhaps you remember the line from the movie
which said, "If you build it, they will come." Unfortunately,
it's not true! However, if you build, tell folks how it
will benefit them, and then extend a personal invitation...
they just might drop by for a visit. That's what we do.

|
| A
|
To avoid monthly paperwork and help control costs, you will be invoiced annually, in advance.
|
| | |
| Q
|
What's the best way to track response from my listing with RetreatGuide.com?
|
| A
|
Here are three methods you can employ to help track your response:
1) Ask. Always ask people how it was they came to contact you. And ask,
specifically, if they discovered you through RetreatGuide.com.
2) Website traffic. If your website address (URL) is included in your
RetreatGuide.com listing, then have your website programmer install an
application that tracks traffic referred by or linked to our site.
3) Special Offers. We strongly encourage you to display in your listing
the special offers you are willing to extend to retreat planners. This
helps groups choose your facility, provides additional value, and helps
you track response.
